In the context of our overarching aims, CHEAD sets out

• constantly to interpret the changing landscape of higher education in art and design

• to articulate its interpretation and understanding both to and with members, stakeholders, policy makers and others

• always to stay one step ahead of developments in the sector

• to make specific, selected, sustainable interventions where gaps exist and to do so in the interests of the art and design sector.
