CHEAD is the assocation of 70 educational institutions with degree or postrgraduate provision in art and design, represented by the most senior academic concerned with A&D.

In practice this means members are Principals, Directors, Heads or Deans (or Dean equivalents), and some of them are Chief Executives of their institutions.
