CHEAD Fellows Programme
Overview
The Council for Higher Education in Art and Design (CHEAD) is proactive in ensuring that former Trustees remain in contact with the organisation and one another. Former Trustees are invited to maintain contact through a dedicated Fellows Programme group.
Our Fellows Programme helps support CHEAD by maintaining a network of prestigious former Trustees who contribute their expertise, skills, advocacy and perspectives in art and design higher education so we can come together to support key initiatives on behalf of our members.

What is the programme?
From participating in our programme and events and mentoring future Trustees, to publishing blogs, there are many ways in which our Fellows will play a part in the success of our organisation. The knowledge, skills, connections, advocacy and experience of our Fellows will enrich our offer to members and ensure that once completing their term as a Trustee, they can continue to engage directly with the organisation and each other.
What are the benefits for our Fellows?
CHEAD wants to support active engagement in the work of CHEAD by former Trustees to support our members and therefore offers the key benefits for those becoming a CHEAD Fellow:
- Use of the title “CHEAD Fellow”
- Profile on the “CHEAD Fellow” webpage
- Invitations to selected events and initiatives
- Access to the CHEAD website forum
- “CHEAD Fellow” Annual Networking Event
Programme evaluation
The organisation will periodically evaluate the Fellows Programme to assess its effectiveness, impact, and alignment with organisational goals. Feedback from Fellows, staff members, and stakeholders will be considered to make improvements and ensure the continued success of the programme.
